Consultations

How much is the consultation fee?

• It is a one-time cost of $25 and is only required for in-person lessons.

Why are consultations necessary?

• Students and parents don't always have the same goals.

• Yet, parents are generally the ones who will be paying Ace Cookie Tutoring.

• We want to ensure parents are getting their money's worth, but we also want to find out from the students where they're struggling.

What does the consultation fee cover?

• The consultation gives us an opportunity to meet face-to-face whether in-person or online.

• Any questions you might have will be answered, and we'll determine if Ace Cookie Tutoring will be a good fit for you and your child.

How many consultation fees will I pay?

• Ideally, each student will pay the consultation fee of $25 once every six months, maximum.

• If students have continuous lessons with Ace Cookie Tutoring, another consultation fee will not be necessary. 

• Only if additional students (such as siblings or classmates) join lessons will additional consultation fees be necessary. 

Who is required to attend the consultation?

• The student being tutored and a parent/legal guardian over the age of 18 is required to be present.

• NOTE: If possible, the first lesson will start immediately following the consultation.

What happens if I'm running late for the consultation?

• Parents and/or students will be given 15 minutes from their scheduled start time to arrive.

• Anyone arriving after that will be considered a no-show, and the consultation fee will be forfeited.

• Another consultation fee will be required before scheduling a second meeting.

Is there a rescheduling/ cancellation policy for consultations?

• Yes! Consultations rescheduled/cancelled 24 hours or more in advance of the scheduled time will be charged no fees. The replacement consultation must occur within two weeks of the original consultation date. If a replacement consultation isn't scheduled, another $25 will be required before the next consultation.

• If a consultation is rescheduled/cancelled less than 24 hours in advance of the scheduled time, no replacement consultation will be offered. Another $25 will be required before scheduling a second meeting.

What happens if I miss my consultation?

• No-shows and customers not providing more than 24 hour notice will not be offered a replacement consultation.

• Another $25 payment will be required before scheduling a second meeting.
