For your convenience, here are the three updates:

1) The list for open/closed testing centers has been determined. As a result, changing testing locations is no longer possible for the July 18th ACT.

2) Additional testing dates have been added for the fall (a total of three in Sept and three in Oct).

3) Health screenings are mandatory for all students and test site administrators before entering the building; masks are strongly encouraged to be worn by students.

Hi! It’s Jessyka Coulter, and today we’re going to talk about the three latest updates for the July 18, 2020 ACT.

I know a lot of high school students and their parents have been worried since many testing centers were closed/rescheduled for the June 13 ACT. So, if this message is relevant to you, let me know by clicking that thumbs up or even the heart button.

Before we get into that, I just want to tell you a little about me in case you’re curious. I am the CEO and Founder of Ace Cookie Tutoring, and I have helped several students increase their scores on the ACT, especially in the Reading and English sections. I also specialize in proofreading and tutoring middle school math.

Alright, let’s move on to what you really want to know: the ACT scheduled for July 18. So, right now, the ACT website says there is a problem with seating capacity at testing centers. This means it is no longer possible to change test centers. So, if your child’s location isn’t on the cancelled location list, that is where he or she must test on the 18th. You should know by now whether or not your child’s testing center is open as locations had to decide by June 19. Visit this link: https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/the-act/test-day/rescheduled-test-centers.html if you're unsure.

You can find that list on the ACT website or in my Facebook group. Now, if you’d like to get updates about this test date as well as prepare for future test dates with some free study tips, please join my ACT study group on Facebook. Visit: https://www.facebook.com/groups/199443837712726/ to join.

Alright, onto the second part of the update. Because of COVID-19, ACT is adding additional test dates in the fall. There was only one test date originally scheduled in September – the 12th – but there are now two more dates available on the 13th and 19th. There are also now three test dates in October.

If you’re finding this message helpful, please let me know by clicking the thumbs up button or the heart button. Feel free to share this video with other students who are taking the July 18th ACT or other parents who are anxious about upcoming test dates.

Ok, part three. If your child is testing, there will be some changes. Students will be required to sit six feet apart and are encouraged to wear masks. All students and test site administrators will go through a health screening before entering the building.

And, remember, if you want more updates about upcoming ACT test dates and to get some free study tips on how to prepare for the ACT, join my ACT study group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/199443837712726/ so your student can get the score he/she wants on the next ACT. You’ll receive real ACT practice questions with answers and explanations. And, you have the chance of winning my ACT Boot Camp which has a value of $200. I hope to see you in my 6 Day ACT Study Challenge soon!

Thank you for your time! I’ll see you in the next video!
