Hello everyone! Jessyka Coulter here, and today I want to teach you how to write an A paper.
So, if you have ever struggled with writing a paper, this is really relevant to you, and you've been dying to know the secrets of how to write an A paper, let me know by clicking that thumbs up or like button or maybe give me some love with the heart button. I’m so glad you're here, and I'm excited to tutor you in writing an A paper.
Before we get into the good stuff…. I know you really wanna know the secrets…. But in case we've never found a chance to meet in person, I want to give you a little background information about me. I'm Jessyka Coulter, and I am the CEO and Founder of Ace Cookie Tutoring. I specialize in tutoring students on the ACT; I help them increase their scores, especially in the Reading and English sections. I also love helping college students proofread their papers.
Alright, the first secret to writing a paper: it's all about the topic which might sound easy, but it’s more complicated than choosing a good topic and getting an A. If your teacher tells you what to write about, that takes away your decision-making - maybe that's something that stresses you out so it’s a good thing - but maybe you get to choose a topic. Well, I've got to encourage you to choose A) a topic you already know something about or B) a topic you want to know more about. Your paper is gonna go so much better and be so much easier to write if it's a topic you're actually invested in.
I hope this is making sense for you! If you're getting something out of this, great! Do you know that I have a free outline I'd love to offer you? All you need to do to get my free outline is to send me an email to acecookietutoring@gmail.com or via my website (www.acecookietutoring.com/contact-us). As soon as I receive your email or message, I’ll be glad to send the outline your way.
So, let's move on to the second tip which is actually about outlines. You might be wondering, “Why should I use an outline?” Well, the thing is, if you do all of this great research and find out all of this good info to use on your paper, you've got to have a way to organize it. If you turn in a paper that doesn't make a lot of sense because it's not well-structured, your teacher is not going to be very happy. Consequently, you're not gonna get a very good grade on your paper. Use an outline to figure out exactly what goes where and what to say when.
Again, I hope you're enjoying this and it's helping. If it is, click that thumbs up button or maybe even leave me a positive comment. I would love to know your thoughts.
Okay, I've got more secrets about writing an A paper. I hope you're ready! The last secret is all about citations, and I know it might sound like a broken record, but plagiarism seriously is a big deal. So, make sure you use the correct citation format for your sources whether that's APA, MLA, or whatever. I just don't want you, your friends, or anyone you might know to get an F on a paper, to get kicked out of school, or something worse if you plagiarize. It really is a big deal - I guarantee it!
That is everything I have for you. So, make sure you use an outline, cite your sources, and then choose your topic carefully. And, if you would love to get my how to write an A paper outline, I’d love to offer it to you for free – just send an email to acecookietutoring@gmail.com, a message at www.facebook.com/acecookietutoring, or through my website at www.acecookietutoring.com/contact-us. I’ll be sure to get my outline to you ASAP.
With my outline, you're going to be able to do a couple of great things. Take the tips I've given you, and then use the outline so you can write a great thesis. I mean, if your thesis isn't any good, your paper is not gonna be very good. You've got to have a strong backbone to the paper which is what a thesis will do for you. Also use my outline so you can transition smoothly from paragraph to paragraph and earn an A. If you're transitioning poorly between your body paragraphs, there won’t be a nice flow throughout your paper. It won’t make sense why you went from this topic to that topic or why you used this fact instead of that one. It's not going to make your teacher very happy. Finally, the whole point of a paper is to teach your readers, to inform them, or maybe even to entertain them ie leave them feeling like, “Oh, well. This is a worthwhile paper!” My outline will help you do that.
Thank you so much for tuning in guys! I hope this helped, and I'll see you in the next video!
